- Book Details
Field trip! Bella, Tom, and Ozzie are excited for some time away from school, even if it’s someplace gross like the landfill.
They do some exploring, but this field trip mostly reminds the kids of the abundant amounts of trash being made all the time. And they’re reminded of their contribution from the disposable dishes they use in their school lunchroom.
Back at school, the kids ask why they use disposables. The adults say they use them because they’re safer and easier, but the kids know disposables are filling up the land fill with no end in sight.
The kids decide they want to wash and reuse dishes. “We all do it at home, why can’t we do it at school.” But the school needs a new dishwasher, and they’ll have to raise the money to buy a new one. They are up for the challenge and decide to make that happen.

Great tips and tools for the aspiring or veteran traveler! I’m new to this life on the road and I’m already using and making plans based on her tips! The book is short and sweet and sticks to the topics and doesn’t wander off into tangents just to prolong the book. Well done!

I must snort, as an atheist I was hesitant about reading this book Everybody Prays, but I found it very insightful and warm hearted. I loved that it gave pens from many different religions. I especially loved the last page where it said that it didn’t matter the name you call God, what matters is....
